We perpetuate the crafts knowledge of the old masters and use animal glues, hand cutting and needle engraving of marquetries. We associate various animal protein based glues in order to respect the deontological obligation of reversibility. We use the traditional tools of the past : the bocfil (small hand saw for marquetry cutting), the marquetry sawbench or the "crossbow" saw for the cutting of missing pieces in precious wood, tortoiseshell or brass marquetries. Hand engraving enables us to redraw the original decorative patterns on reconstituted parts.
